I find it ironic that both Welinski and Andreoff were drafted 3 selections apart in 2011 (80 Andreoff and 83 Welinski). Both saw a little NHL time (though Andreoff significantly more) but both as 4th line/3rd pair type players. As you would expect from a third rounder. |

Let it go already. At least let Braun play a game before ya’ll have so much hatred. Chuck determined he was a fit and went out and got him....no long term tie down blocking our future dmen just a good fit and good character guy to help the locker room loss’ of simmer and gudas. Right move or wrong let it be determined on the ice. Personally I like the move |

I brought up the same issues in a previous thread on how there is a lack of understanding on what it takes to acquire a serviceable defensive defenseman like Braun. I'll repeat that no question we'll see many complaints if young favored players are kept out of the lineup in favor of him.

I like the move. We’ll find out soon enough is right. Liking the balance they got going on D. Potentially anyways. Looking forward to it.
Sarcastic to losing the third for him since changes are it is a tweener type of play. Not much to give up for a to0 4 D. Now the second is where some people are losing their mind over. I’m not |

If this team is winning then we won’t hear a peep. If they are stinking we will never hear the end.
Please Flyers. Win. |

rather take a shot on a player than waste it on 1 year of another that buys us nothing |

Well if we sign Braun to a 6-year, $30M extension, then I would expect everyone to lose it. For right now, as much as I'd love to not have to carry 8D or trade one of them, it's only 1 year. |

There won't be any room for him with Myers, Patrick and Lindblom all needing extensions, and TK and Provorov starting the 2nd year of theirs.
Hagg will need one, too. If he's staying.

Any other guys in TKs range not signed yet? I feel for the most part it is the more established forwards, Katchuk, Ranatanen, Marner, Laine, etc. |

Well hopefully TK is signed this week, and then one to go. Minnesota having Zucc and Parise locked up for a combined $13M+ for the next 5 years is a tough one, yeesh. They are so close to being off a bunch of contracts, that Zucc deal was baffling. |
